Dong Joined the Tsai lab in 2021 after completing his PhD at the National University of Singapore. During his PhD studies, Dong worked on human iPSC-derived brain organoids and macrophages, and developed a fascination with neuro-immune interactions. In the Tsai lab, he is taking this research step further by trying to understand neuro-immune interactions in the context of neurodegenerative diseases.
