Daisong Pan shares his time between the Tsai and Boyden Labs at MIT. He obtained his BS degree in Physics from Peking University and completed his Ph.D. in Physics at UC Berkeley. During his Ph.D. studies, Daisong developed advanced optical microscopy techniques with applications to biological imaging as well as materials sciences and chemistry. He is currently focused on developing and applying optical imaging tools to study neurological diseases, among other applications.
