Brooke received their BS in Neuroscience (Cognitive/Computational Concentration) with a Minor in Bioethics from The Ohio State University in 2022. As an undergraduate, they contributed to research in two labs: one studying the effects of over-the-counter pain medications on social and emotional cognition, and another investigating the correlation between juvenile traumatic brain injury, neuroinflammation in adulthood, and cognitive task performance in rats. In the Tsai lab, they will be working on the miBrain project and studying the effects of gamma entrainment in utero on Down syndrome phenotypes.
