Arthur Ngo
Technical Associate

Art joined the Tsai Lab in February 2025 after earning his B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley. During his undergraduate studies, he wrote a research proposal to investigate the epigenetic links between the gut microbiome and neurological diseases. He worked with engineering targeted PGN mutations in bacterial membrane models to further our understanding of drug delivery and membrane morphology. In the Tsai Lab, Arthur studies the effects of amyloid-beta accumulation on neural circuits in Alzheimer’s disease. Utilizing stereotaxic surgeries and advanced imaging techniques in murine models, he investigates the mechanisms driving neurodegeneration and cognitive decline. Passionate about bridging the gap in accessing scientific research and clinical care, Arthur is committed to translating scientific discoveries into innovative therapies for neurodegenerative diseases.
