Alice is engineering a 3D brain-chip model that mimics brain tissue and harnessing it to model neurodegenerative disease. Her broader goal is to develop technologies related to human health that enable enhanced mechanistic understanding and expedited discovery of effective treatments. She has been a Postdoctoral Fellow since 2020 collaborating between the Tsai laboratory and Robert Langer’s laboratory. Prior to that she received her PhD in Bioengineering from Stanford University and BSE in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University.
