After graduating from University College Dublin with a BSc in Genetics, Áine spent two years in the Lynch Lab at Harvard Medical school studying the immunometabolism of the brain and meninges of mice. In February 2022, Áine began work as a Research Technician in the Tsai Lab while also undertaking a masters degree in Applied Neuroscience from Kings College London. Áine is driven toward an academic career utilizing her diverse background to better understand the effects of non-invasive interventions on cognitive wellbeing and the CNS as a whole.
