Emre received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Kansas. Afterwards, he worked at the Stowers Institute for Medical Research where he gained extensive experience with CRISPR, iPSC and 3D organoid culture, skills which he now brings to the Tsai lab’s iPSC and miBrain projects. He is interested in understanding the interactions between large-scale neural oscillations and the cellular and molecular mechanisms of the brain.
